Dividing alphabetic text into words with spaces is somewhat difficult for some Chinese writers, as Pinyin is often (incorrectly) written either with no spaces at all, or with a space after each syllable. "Bi shi kai ke", followed by a Bishkek telephone number, is the correct Pinyin for 比什凯克 (Chinese for 'Bishkek'), although syllables within a word should not be separated by spaces.
